A fine art print is a reproduction of an original work of art created through various printing processes. Fine art prints are often produced in limited editions, with each individual print being numbered and signed by the artist.

The printing processes used to create fine art prints vary depending on the desired outcome and the medium being used. Some common printing processes include:

Lithography: a printing process where the artist draws an image onto a stone or metal plate, which is then inked and printed onto paper.

Serigraphy (or silkscreen)

Processes where the artist creates a stencil and applies ink to the paper through the stencil using a mesh screen. 

Etching

A process where the artist draws an image onto a metal plate coated with an acid-resistant substance, which is then etched into the plate using acid. The plate is then inked and printed onto paper.

Gisele

A high-quality digital printing process where an image is printed onto archival paper using specialized inkjet printers.

Fine art prints are often produced in small editions, typically ranging from 10 to 500 prints. They are generally considered to be more affordable than original works of art and allow art lovers to collect and enjoy the works of their favorite artists.
